Help kick off the 4th annual Providence Fringe Festival Monday evening at the new WaterFire Arts Center on Valley Street. Meet the artists and get a sneak peek at some of the performances.
FRINGEPVD has grown rapidly since it’s inaugural year in 2014, expecting this year to bring together more than three hundred individual theatre, music, dance, multi-media, and performing artists for five nights in traditional and non-traditional performance venues throughout the Providence area. FRINGEPVD is presented by The Wilbury Theatre Group in collaboration with Waterfire Providence.
The Opening Night Party features a bar by Laughing Gorilla and the Revival Brewing Company, food by FireWorks Catering, and performances by James Stanley and Jesse Hawley, Christopher Johnson, and the Ben Shaw Quartet.
The festival runs through July 29th at four venues: WFAC, AS220 Black Box Theater, RISD Point Street Pop-Up, and the Steel Yard.
Opening Night, $20 (includes drink ticket), 6pm to 8pm, Monday, July 24, WFAC, 475 Valley Street, (directions)
