Ella Tribute — Prospect Terrace

(8.10) This just in. Stages of Freedom is hosting two days of Ella Fitzgerald in a beautiful outdoor setting and the events are free. You should notice significant improvements have been made to the Prospect Terrace park over the past year. Let’s keep it neat and clean. (Facebook event page.)

Come one, come all! Jazz is a Rainbow presents “Ella Fitzgerald: The First Lady of Jazz.” Written and musically directed by Lynne Jackson and Michael Palter, directed by Robb Dimmick and performed by nine amazing Providence teens. . . Free and Open to the public. Bring your friends and family and gather around a picnic to enjoy some of the best jazz music of our history.

This event is part of the 2018 Eat Play Learn Neighborhood Performing Arts Initiative presented by Mayor Jorge O. Elorza, the Department of Art, Culture + Tourism, the Department of Parks & Recreation, and the Partnership for Providence Parks.
