Art Providence Holiday Show

(12.9) Here comes another opportunity for finding that special handcrafted gift — the Art Providence Holiday Show runs both days this weekend. This is not just more soap that looks like sushi. You even have to pay to get in. Totally worth it.

The Art Providence Holiday Show replaced the annual RISD Alumni Holiday show in 2017, after its successful 22-year run. The show now features artists from all backgrounds including but not limited to RISD alumni. Our 200 participating artists, makers, and designers come from throughout New England and beyond to share their work with you.

Categories include: ceramics, fiber wearable, fiber decorative, glass, metal, photography, leather, furniture, printmaking, sculpture wood, jewelry, and more. Go here to check out the artists. There is some gorgeous, wonderful stuff here.

Kids 12 and under: free admission. There’s gift wrapping and VIP tickets and such. More show info here.

Buy an additional $7 ticket ($5 kids) and enjoy Local Food Favorites/ 1pm to 4pm both days:

Enjoy generous samples of area favorites from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m on Saturday and Sunday, December 8 and 9. Come shop nearly 200 artists and then take a break to celebrate with a tasty beverage at our cash bar while you sample these delicious treats in our “local food favorites” corner adjacent to the show floor.
