(1.10) Bring family and friends to experience the Holiday Lights Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo, an all new, drive-through experience just in time for the holidays.
Drive through a dazzling light display, through the zoo, while staying warm and safe inside your car. The display features festive larger-than-life luminous displays and over 1.5 million illuminated lights. It’s like a car wash, but instead of soap it’s light.
The comments on Facebook are generally favorable. This is not a long ride, about ten minutes, but remember that A) you are getting out of the house, and B) you are supporting the zoo.
Tickets sold for each half hour (time slots are your arrival window to the Zoo – it isn’t reflective of trail exploration times). Trail will be open nightly 5:00 – 9:30 pm. Last car admitted at 9:45 pm.
Open nightly except for December 24 & 25. Tickets must be purchased online. $25/car, but $20/car for RWP members. Go here for tickets.
N.B. The ‘Holiday Lights Drive-Through’ experience is open rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled, so choose carefully. Check the weather report.
