Polynesian Dance At Roger Williams Park

(6.27) Grab a lawn chair or blanket and head over to the lawn of the Dalrymple Boathouse this Sunday for a free cultural tour of the islands courtesy of Polynesian dance troupe Napua O’ Polynesia. This will be the first in a series of performances scheduled throughout the summer at the Dalrymple Boathouse and the Bandstand. (Go to FirstWorks Live Music At RWP.)

Let these mesmerizing dancers, drummers, and musicians spirit you away on a cultural tour of the Polynesian Islands of Hawaii and New Zealand, then on to Tahiti and the Philippines. No plane ticket required!

Napua O’Polynesia (Flowers of Polynesia) is a Rhode Island dance troupe based out of the Carriage House Theater on Duncan Avenue. Their performances include Kahiko (ancient) and modern hula. They are available for parties and events.
