(10.9) The 7th annual Ocean State Oyster Festival takes place this Saturday down by the river, with at least ten participating farms:

Ocean State Oyster Festival (OSOF) collaborates with the Nature Conservancy of RI to reclaim discarded oyster shells, keeping them out of the landfill and adaptively up-cycling them for reef building. So “dispose” of your shells in designated areas.
Tickets are $10 per person. Oyster and drink tickets available for purchase separately. Children 12 and under free. Leashed dogs welcome.
