Then I am to assume that there are no stray dogs or cats in your neighborhood since they just end up on your grill, right? I’m sure they taste just as good, but that don’t make it right!

Am I missing something? This “rescue” had its biggest fundraiser with an “old fashioned barbeque.” If this “sanctuary” rescues pigs and chickens and such, then where did the pork ribs and bbq chicken come from that they served? Reminds me of the old joke about the three legged pig that was “too good to eat all at once.” As a Vegetarian for over 20 years because I think it is wrong to harm animals, I just can’t understand why you would pay to save one animal, and then turn around and pay to eat another. Can someone explain that to me?

  3. Does anyone know who was behind the “Save the Bonniedale Farm” benefit? I am with a few local rescue groups that are also trying to help and I just wanted to touch base. thanks!

  4. FUNDRAISER FOR BONNIEDALE FARM

Bonniedale Farm in Glouster, RI is a sanctuary for over 100 animals. Many of the animals have been cruelly abused, some would otherwise be destroyed . Many, including puppies, kittens, and older pets are just left by people that know about Bonniedale Farms. Owner, farmer, and animal lover MacKenzie has owned Bonniedale Farms and been rescuing animals for over 7 years now. He faces foreclosure in less than 2 months.
