Late Bird Can Still Get The Worm

Veggies, Duh. Procrastinators rejoice. You can still get a weekly supply of fresh, tasty, locally grown fruits and veggies. It’s not too late to sign up for a CSA in Rhode Island!

Farm Fresh RI is keeping an updated list of farms with CSA shares still available. What is a CSA? CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA members pay their local farmer upfront for a weekly summer and fall supply of the best fruits and veggies (and sometimes meat, cheese, and eggs). It’s an opportunity for you to stake your claim on hot & sexy local food and make an investment in a local farm early in the season.

There are many CSA pick-ups around Providence. It’s easier than grocery shopping, and it tastes a lot better.
