Join Rhode Island Jobs with Justice for a Solidarity Day in support of Occupy Providence. From the FB event page,
RI Jobs with Justice is a coalition of over 45 community, labor, faith-based, and student groups that take action together to level the playing field by building power for poor and working class people. We work to re-establish justice in the workplace, while promoting social, racial and economic justice.
On October 27th . . . we will stand in solidarity with the growing 99% Movement.
The event will begin at 5:30pm. (Union members and community allies are encouraged to come at 5:00pm to participate in Occupy’s daily General Assembly).
