RISD Alums Featured At Gallery EOSS

‘Variations’ is the latest exhibit at Gallery EOSS on Hartford Avenue. This new addition to the Olneyville gallery scene will focus on contemporary artists. Bill Van Siclen at the ProJo has the details.

Without much fanfare, Gallery EOSS opened this month at 91 Hartford Ave., a sprawling mill complex on the west side of Olneyville Square. Owner Mark Goodkin says the gallery will specialize in contemporary art, with a mix of works from local and out-of-town artists.

The gallery’s second show, which opens Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m., effectively splits the difference between local and non-local. The three artists — Trine Giaever, Jessica Nissen and William Hudders — are all RISD grads who now live and work in New York City.

Gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday, 2pm to 6pm, and by appointment.
