(7.10) Hood ornaments, tuck ‘n’ roll upholstery, candy flake paint, and chrome polished to within an inch of its life — these cars are works of art. Head over to the Steel Yard Cruise Night and see classic cars from all eras. Hoods are often left propped open so you can see how ridiculously clean the engines are. The owners are often quite chatty and will answer questions.
Each year, this family friendly event has consistently grown larger, bringing classic car and motorcycle enthusiasts together from throughout the region in an old school rendezvous and show off. The 2015 Cruise Night will include over 120 custom and classic vehicles, in an evening of polished chrome, greasy grooves, raffle prizes, studio tours, and local food truck vendors.
