The good people at Narragansett Brewery invite you to the launch of the third of their Lovecraft-branded brews, Reanimator Helles Lager, at a screening of the 1985 Stuart Gordon comedy-horror classic “Re-Animator.”
Back from the dead just in time for the spookiest month of the year, our beloved Bock has morphed into the Reanimator Helles Lager. You won’t want to miss this Lovecraft inspired brew and you can be one of the first try it on Saturday, October 10th at the Columbus Theatre! The party starts at 8pm and a special screening of “Re-animator” starts at 9pm.
As to the Lovecraft tale, Herbert West — Reanimator.
It began with a serum. A serum that would force the unnatural, a serum that would bring life… to death. It was said that Herbert West once employed his concoction to pull a lifeless, battered boxer back from the netherworld. This is when the murmurs of West’s tampering with death began. When the whispered tale at last traveled from Arkham to Providence, our mission became clear. We would use it on one of our own fallen favorites: our beloved Bock beer. Though twisted and forever changed, the Bock would live again as a Helles Lager – and now it hits harder than ever.
And meet Reanimator label artist Aaron Bosworth who will be signing screen printed posters of the artwork.
