Urban Vintage Bazaar

(10.24) The Arcade Providence opens its concourse to visiting vintage vendors this Saturday. Many reasons at this time of year to be checking out new sources of apparel, jewelry, vinyl, housewares, and ephemera. You can never have too much (too many?) ephemera.

The event will feature more than sixteen vintage vendors selling men’s, women’s and children’s vintage clothing and accessories, jewelry, housewares, linens, kitschy collectibles, industrial items, ephemera, books, antique writing instruments, bohemian items, mid-century finds, holiday decor, re-purposed items and much more. This event will feature a “Vinyl Lounge; “ an entire room devoted to selling nothing but vinyl records and other music-related items. Because the event takes place a week before Halloween, many vendors will bring options and ideas for holiday costumes. Confirmed vendors for the Urban Vintage Bazaar are White Buffalo, Archetype Vintage, NAVA, Guess What I Have, Gina’s Creations and Vintage, Memory Relics, The Embassy Antiques, Vintage Ginger’s Closet, Split Apart Secondhand, Uptown Vinyl, Mayflower Vintage, Neil’s Pens, The Bird’s Nest, Gigi’s Collection, Infectious Fun Toys, Dom Casual Discos, Eat The Mommy, Vintage on the Rocks and of course, the Arcade Providence’s vintage retailer, Carmen & Ginger.

There seems to be kind of a cool scene at New Harvest Coffee & Spirits. Even in the off hours it looks busy. And people are talking to each other! The bar boasts all kinds of small-batch this and single-malt that. So go shopping and drinking.

Free and open to the public, 10am to 5pm, Saturday, October 24, Arcade Providence, 65 Weybosset/130 Westminster Street
