(10.20) This event sure has evolved over the years. It started out as a fairly loosey-goosey event — more of a party really and probably a bit dangerous — whereas now they have themes and booths and a schedule. Also, the fire department took notice years ago and things got a little less . . . spontaneous? But it is still a wondrous and unique event, so head over to the Steel Yard Saturday for the 13th annual Halloween Iron Pour: The Lost Yard featuring:

The Firefly Caravan is a fantasy troupe of fire dancers, light benders, costumed characters, and stuntmen.
