To welcome 2020, Providence will host a free outdoor spectacular in Waterplace Park beginning at 7:00 pm. “Providence is the place of be on New Year’s Eve,” said Mayor Jorge Elorza. “With a ball drop, laser show and fireworks, the Creative Capital will be bustling with fun activities for all ages to enjoy as we welcome 2020.”
In addition to the fireworks, Finance Way will be closed to traffic to accommodate a gaggle of food trucks. Holiday beverages and souvenirs will be sold throughout the night in the Waterplace Park Basin. All outdoor activities are free and open to the public.
The Skyline will be hosting fancy ticketed events inside.
