Two More Stumps

I love this dog. We first learned of Keith Yeaw, a tree trimmer with the city parks department, last January when he and his crew were clearing out the dead and diseased trees along Blackstone Boulevard. He is the man brightening our mood with his chainsaw.

Some of the tree trunks have been large enough to allow for these little tableaux. This ridiculously adorable dog can be found on Fairoaks Avenue off of Hilltop. Look at the barky tip of the nose! This is legitimate folk art. Unknown who added the cones.

Then there is this squirrel over on Alfred Stone Road, off the northern tip of Blackstone Boulevard almost in Pawtucket. You may have driven right by it. Again, the tip of the nose just kills me.

  1. I was wondering about that mushroom cap up by Elmgrove. Fine work Keith – has a nice energy, adds to my morning walk.
