Enjoy Winter Wonder Days at Roger Williams Park Zoo with half-price admission through January and February. (The zoo will be closed Friday due to snow.)
A winter visit offers a unique experience and great way to beat cabin fever. Stop by and say hello to animals like snow leopards and red pandas enjoying the cooler temperatures. Or take a break from the winter weather and look in on our Komodo dragon, tree kangaroos, elephants and giraffes.
Timed-entry ticket requirements remain in effect for non-members and must be purchased online. Current zoo members do not need to reserve daytime zoo tickets in advance — just show your digital membership card and a photo ID at any ticket booth for entry on the day of your visit.
Winter hours: The zoo will be open Thursday thru Monday, and Providence school vacations, from 10am to 4pm.
Seen here is a snowy owl (Bubo scandiacus). They eat mice.
