(4.9) An Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday and the weather is looking good. Ward 1 councilman John Goncalves invites everyone to this family-friendly event — you don’t have to be a constituent to participate.
Paterson Park is within the Blackstone Park Conservation District, a 45-acre natural woodland which serves as a buffer between city streets and the Seekonk River. This organization* has done a fantastic job clearing paths, erecting fences, adding signage, and roguing out invasive weeds while cultivating the native plants. They have a series of 15-minute field trips scheduled, including Looking Under Logs this Saturday at 2pm. Registration required.
*To the best of my knowledge, the BPCD is not connected with the Easter egg hunt and things found under logs are probably not snackable.
