(5.5) “Blow off work and come down!” That’s the invitation from Diego’s East Side as they celebrate Cinqo de Mayo this Friday. They will be serving up tacos and fresh margaritas in the street from noon to 8pm.
Yeeeesss, we all know Cinqo de Mayo is not an important holiday down in Mexico, but it’s a pretty big deal to us now.
Enter the raffle! The prize is a basket with gift cards and fun stuff from local businesses. Raffle tickets go for $5 — proceeds will benefit the Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL). Lunazul Tequila will be onsite pouring samples.
The mural on the Medway Street side is maravilloso. (And I have never had one lesson.)
