RISD Craft — Benefit Street

(10.19) The Fall RISD Craft sale takes over Benefit Street between Waterman and Hopkins this Saturday. The show includes the work of both current students and juried alumni. Check out the 2024 Fall Artists before you head down. Seen here is the work of Rach SebellShavit (2004, ceramics).

RISD Craft features handmade fine art and design work by over 130 artists. The work on view speaks to the quality, attention to detail, and mastery of craftsmanship students and alumni hone at RISD and bring to their own practices in a wide variety of media including textiles, furniture, glass, illustration, photography, ceramics, and jewelry.

Viewers have an opportunity to engage with makers while finding unique gifts and one-of-a-kind items at the sale. While checking out the exemplary craftsmanship, be sure to cast your vote for your favorite artist to make them eligible for the People’s Choice Award.

This is the stretch of Benefit Street that runs between the RISD Museum and Frazier Terrace.
