The Commerford Zoo of Goshen, Connecticut is bringing its Kids’ Fun Fair & Awesome Traveling Zoo to the Rhode Island Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday, featuring zebras, kangaroos, zebus and other animals that have no business being in New England or America. This will be a good old-fashioned freak show. Come see the UniCow! . . . in other words, an animal with a birth defect. If you like to watch overweight provincials feed cotton candy to camels and saddle up sad little elephants (this picture was taken from the Commerford’s own website) then this event is for you. I suggest a movie.

I’d suggest the Pawtucket St. Patrick’s Parade. You’d think there’d be more on the Pawtucket website, but I can only find it on the event calendar pdf. Not much to link to. RIPTA is rerouting, so it must be true. (http://www.ripta.com/content1954.html)
