Spend Memorial Day Weekend in Pawtucket! I suppose the recent re-release of the Wolpaw/Lupo epic “It’s a Complex World” got everyone to thinking — certainly the enthusiastic turnout when the movie played at the Cable Car evidenced a vast reservoir of affection and nostalgia for this band, as well as for the old old Lupo’s, smoking, drinking and all that. The music really holds up. The original lineup — Sport Fisher, Rudy Cheeks, Thomas Enright, and Jeff Shore, will be joined by Thomas DeQuattro and Marty Ballou. This is a clip from the movie and if you only watch the first 11 seconds you will see why everyone loved these guys. (Spoiler alert: This 4-minute clip shows the club scene at the very end of the movie. Do not watch all the way to the end if you do not want to know what happens.) You can purchase the new dvd online or at What Cheer Antiques, go here for info. Tickets go for $25 and are on sale now at several locations.
Young Adults Reunion, May 27, 28, 29, shows at 9pm, the Met, 1005 Main Street, Pawtucket
