New Book From Providence Raptors

Urban wildlife photographer Peter Green of Providence Raptors is a favorite here at The Dose. For several years he has allowed us to use his gorgeous images, usually involving the peregrine falcon nesting box but not always: Remember the Cooper’s hawk that ruled the Arcade roost for a few days in January? The snowy owl? And those bald eagles? Lately he’s been documenting a pair of American kestrels nesting in some undisclosed location. From his Facebook page:

After ten years of sharing photos and stories about urban falcons, hawks, owls, and more, I’ve compiled the best into a new book, “Providence Raptors: Documenting the Lives of Urban Birds of Prey.” If you like what I share online, you’re going to love this book — available now!

Birders and downtown residents will love this. Go here to purchase “Providence Raptors: Documenting the Lives of Urban Birds of Prey.”
