The boys were all ready — the box has the best view of the parade in the city — but RI PrideFest has been postponed for now. (Just as well, their feathers are a mess.) Of course the nestlings are on their own schedule and will be taking off before you know it.

PVD United is happening in it’s place this year. Several of the LGBTQ venues in the city are putting on their own events in celebration of Equality, Unity & Love … Askew is hosting a block party starting at 6pm [June 19]. There will be vendors, food trucks, a comedy show, live bands, and drag king performances.
