Addams Family Values At Rink

(10.7) This perfectly timed movie covers Hispanic Heritage Month, Indigenous Peoples Day, Halloween, and our cherished Thanksgiving traditions all in one fell swoop, while also bringing attention to the problem of elder abuse. Because in the right hands, a great movie can do all that and still be hilarious. Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and written by Paul Rudnick in 1993  — thirty years ago! Addams Family Values is that rare sequel that outshines the original, which was pretty good (Roger Ebert came to the same conclusion). The amazing cast includes Anjelica Huston, Joan Cusack, Christina Ricci, Christopher Lloyd, and the exquisite Puerto Rican actor Raul Julia (né, Raúl Rafael Carlos Juliá y Arcelay) as Gomez.
