New Site For Summer Flea

The Summer Providence Flea, formerly located on the east side of the Providence River, has found a new location in the 195 District Park on the opposite side of the river. We had supported the plan proposed by the Flea in which they would have stayed in its original location along the boardwalk on South Water Street, but this seems a logical alternate choice. According to the ProJo:

Providence Flea owner and manager Maria Tocco said the new spot is visible from the old one on a little elbow of land roughly the same size as the old site. It’s bordered by a walking path and the river and to the rear, a road with parking that surrounds a Brown University building at 200 Dyer St.

The summer season will run every Sunday from June 2 through September 15.

In the mean time, you can find the indoor Providence Flea every Sunday, from 11am to 3pm, at Farm Fresh RI, now through May 5th. Closed Easter.
